Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management
Introduction
The Course is designed to provide a comprehensive education for students who are keen in developing the skills and knowledge needed in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The course focuses on skill-based training and exposes the students to the necessary knowledge in management and entrepreneurship which are essential for entry into the employment market.
In addition, the course also focuses on subjects such as management, accounting, marketing, human resource, law, facilities and psychology which will enable students to have an in-depth understanding of the industry.
Course Structure
The academic year comprises 6 semesters of study on-campus and one term of internship off-campus at the various establishments. The course of study covers the following areas:

- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 3 credits

Course Pathway
Upon completion of the course, students have an option to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from local universities offering Hospitality Programmes or gain credit transfers to the various affiliated universities such as:

With this qualification, students can easily hold managerial positions as they progress in their career in different parts of the world at the various establishments such as in the hotels, resorts, restaurants, travel agencies or in setting up their own businesses.
