International Student Admission Procedure

Pre Application Checklist

  1. Verify the student’s academic qualification level: O-Level, A-Level, Baccalaureate Diploma, Secondary or High school qualification etc, sent by agent. Students with minimum 3 credits in secondary or high school qualification are eligible to apply. Request the student’s to fill out the “Application Form” and read thoroughly on declaration and terms and conditions.

Application Checklist

  1. Received the completed ‘Application Form’. The following is to be checked and must be duly completed in the ‘Application Form’: Choice of programme; Personal data; Academic information; Read and understood the terms and conditions; Declaration; Admission checklist.
  2. Ensure the following documents are enclosed: 4 copies of the entire passport (all pages); 4 certified true photocopies of the academic qualifications/transcripts (English translation is required if it is other than English); 4 certified true photocopies of the leaving school testimonial; 8 recent passport size colour photographs; 1 set of the ‘Student Arrival Service Form’ (to reach the college 1 week before departure); 1 set of the ‘Student Accommodation Reservation Form’ (to reach the college 1 week before departure, if required).
  3. Ensure the following necessary payments are made in the form of bank draft to the College: Application fee; Visa Processing fee; Airport pick up service; First year/semester course fees (upon acceptance for admission). Submit the bank draft to the Account Department for clearance and receipts. Proceed with Student Pass / Visa Application with Immigration Authorities upon clearance of the bank draft.
  4. For students who meet the normal entrance requirements of the particular course, an unconditional ‘Letter of Offer’ will be issued to the prospective students via the agents. The letter must contain the following: Intake date; Duration; Details course fees and other fees. For those who do not meet the normal entrance requirements of the particular course, the ‘Application Form’ and the relevant documents must be submitted to the ‘Academic Department’ for review and approval. The acceptance to enroll for a course of study shall be based on ‘Conditional Letter of Offer’. Students who fail to enroll a course of study and rejected by the ‘Academic Department’, the decision must be informed in writing to the student concerned within a week.

Prior to Commencement

  1. Submit the Application Form to the ‘Administration Department’ to open a ‘Student Personal File’. The following documents are to be enclosed: Application Form; Relevant documents; Photocopy of the ‘Letter of Offer’; ‘Admission Record’; Duplicate copies of the official receipts. The ‘ Admission Record’ is a record of the students’ payment history which must be updated by the ‘Accounts Department’/’Administration Department’ as and when students make their payments.
  2. To request the students to submit the following upon arrival and to make the necessary payments within 2 weeks after the commencement of the first semester: Original passport for the endorsement of student pass by the Immigration Authorities which will normally take 4 weeks to process; ,Personal bond of which the rate is determined by the Immigration Authorities based on students’ country of origin and is refundable upon successful completion of study; Medical insurance (annual renewal); Library deposit (refundable); Accommodation (if required) ; Other fees.
